Gary Fee

Gary is the Assistant Director and Transport Coordinator at Hiyed CIC, where he plays a key role in both strategic leadership and frontline service delivery.

 

With a background in law enforcement through his previous career with Northumbria Police, Gary brings a wealth of transferable skills including clear communication, operational planning, and a calm, decisive presence. Known for his firm but fair approach, Gary sets clear expectations while remaining approachable and empathetic qualities that help build trust and accountability across the team.

 

At Hiyed, he oversees transport coordination for clients with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges, ensuring they receive safe, tailored support to access employment and development opportunities. He also supports the Managing Director with day-to-day operations and programme planning to ensure the continued success of Hiyed CIC.

 

Gary’s blend of public service experience, practical leadership, and people-first mindset makes him a driving force behind Hiyed CIC's mission to remove barriers and empower individuals to thrive.
